Hello, Dear Reader! I'm so glad you've stopped by for a sneak peak at Jubilee and the Stinky Fish! It's been a crazy few weeks over at A Way with Words, so I thought I would just touch base with you at Jubilee's place. You'll hear some of the sad and sordid details in an upcoming post at http://alicevwalters.com soon, but for now, I'd like to introduce you to my friend, Jubilee.
Jubilee Daniel Shelley (that's a mouthful, isn't it?) is the main attraction in Jubilee and the Stinky Fish, my latest manuscript. He's a pretty good kid, getting ready to go to 6th grade when all kinds of tragedies hit his family.
As adults, we've probably all learned that tragedies aren't just one moment in time. They typically precipitate life changes, and they can bring out the best or the worst in us. I hope you'll stop by Jubilee's website to see what he's learning on his journey.
And please keep checking in at http://alicevwalters (A Way with Words) as we continue with our Bible Study, Called to Be More than a Pretty Face, and Time with Friends (prayerfully up and running again by Monday, July 23).
Blessings for respite, rest, and recreation, Dear Reader, as we head into the "dog days of summer"!
